British equestrian leather heads for Athens

British leather manufacturers Pittards are celebrating after British eventer Jeanette Brakewell has definitely been confirmed as a member of the British Olympic team. 'Jeanette has won an enviable collection of international medals including individual silver at the World Equestrian Games in 2002 and was the top woman rider at Badminton this year', said Pittards' marketing manager Caroline Spillane. 'Both Jeanette and her Olympic horse Over to You are in excellent form and are serious contenders for an Olympic medal. It would be fantastic if she won gold this time.' Her riding boots and her riding gloves are made in leather specially developed by Pittards to give exceptional feel and performance in equestrian activities.
