Danese dream realised!

15 November 2007

After many years of technical trials and experiments, an elastic vibration staking machine conveyor with an endless, seamless, joint was born and trials suggest that its performance is excellent. The innovation has been brought to fruition by Italian company Danese, situated in Arzignano. The conveyors have been on trial since last February in some of the biggest tanneries in Arzignano and according to Danese, test results are very positive. The company began manufacturing vibration staking conveyors in 1993. Co-founder Luigi Danese had never been satisfied with the available techniques for sewing and jointing of the belts. His dream was to find a solution, and it has taken 14 years of endeavour to achieve. Now all tanneries can experience a real endless tubular elastic conveyor, avoiding problems such as un-seaming and marks on the leather related to the sewing of the conveyors. Although the new product cannot be used on all leather types nor on all machines, the range of products covered by Danese is wide enough to cater to all requirements, starting from the normal ‘light’ elastic fabrics, to the rubberized heavy materials, up to the new ‘Extreme’ double layer fabrics. The latest addition, which is called XTRM-PTB, completes the range of vibration staking conveyors. In addition to manufacturing such innovative products, Danese are renowned in the field of after-sales service and able to supply spare parts and free technical advice to help customers improve their production. A range of accessories including buffing and shavings compactors, hide manipulators and fleshing pumps are also available.
