Dongguan China fair opens soon

The 2006 Dongguan . China Shoes . China Shoetec international footwear exhibition is being held from April 21 to 24. The organizers, Adsale, say there will be concurrent seminars on hot topics of the shoe industry in China; display zones of 'Winning items of the 2005 Hong Kong Footwear Competition' and latest 2006 fall & winter collections by major exhibitors; and a fashion show with brands highlights. Massimo Donda, President of Federcalzature, will accompany European buyers and host a seminar. 2006 Dongguan . China Shoes . China Shoetec is an export-orientated show focusing on middle-to-high end footwear products. Opening hours are 9.00am to 5.00 pm on the first three days and 9.00am to 3.00pm on the last. The opening ceremony will take place from 10.00am to 10.30am on April 21. The exhibition is being held at the Dongguan International Conference & Exhibition Center (Grand Hall entrance), Guangdong, PR China (The crossing of Hongfu Road & Dongguan Road, Dongguan, P.R.China). Joachim Erwin, Lord Mayor of Düsseldorf and chairman of the supervisory board of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, and Werner M Dornscheidt, chairman and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf, will attend and address the opening ceremony.
