Drying tunnel from new Poletto

15 December 2003

The Poletto name has re-emerged following the closure and subsequent break-up of the Poletto Group in 2002. The new company Poletto Technology have new owners and were exhibiting at Tanning Tech for the first time. A new version of their drying tunnel was highlighted at the show. The Fast-M drying unit can be added in-line after padding or spray finishing. The two-metre cells feature Perlon conveyor belts, which transport the leather through circulated air, heated to 100-130ºC for efficient drying after finishing. The machine comes in a range of sizes and can be used for all leather types. Each drying cell includes four exhausts for ventilation and each burner is installed directly inside the tunnel. Poletto Technology offer burners which may use natural gas, LPG or diesel as a fuel. Poletto Technology provide drying cells in a range of lengths depending on application; they include 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 10.0 and 12.0m blocks.
