European Union findings on Vietnam

European Union findings on Vietnam A team from the European Union investigating whether eight Vietnamese leather shoe manufacturers have been dumping their products on EU markets has suggested that the companies have not been '…operating in a manner conducive to conventional business practices of market economies', according to the Vietnamese News Agency. The report is a preliminary one and has not been confirmed. There is now a possibility that the EU could introduce an anti-dumping tax on imported Vietnamese leather shoes. An official announcement is expected in March.
