Iceland first half foreign trade

Statistics Iceland reports that Iceland exported raw hides and skins worth US$6.63 million in the first half of this year, as compared with US$3.49 million in the same period of 2004. Iceland exported leather and dressed fur skins worth US$2.94 million in the January to June period, as against US$3.53 million in the same period of 2004. Imports of these types of commodities were worth US$1.33 million, as compared with US$1.08 million in the January to June period last year.
