Inoxvic introduce Simplex-4 TDF

15 August 2002

Spanish tannery, laboratory and pilot plant machinery specialists, Inoxvic, have updated their stainless steel pilot scale drums. The new Simplex-4 TDF is composed of a double-walled cabinet with funnels located on the top for the introduction of liquids into the drums. This eliminates interruptions for water or chemical additions during the drum cycle. The control panel allows the operator to command the drums, temperature and speed without interference to the process. The drum speed ranges from 7-45rpm and can be regulated independently for each drum. The Aisi 316 stainless steel drums are completely smooth inside apart from the pegs and the front of the Simplex-4 TDF is fitted with safety glass which is resistant to temperature and totally transparent to allow observation of the trial drums. There is room for a small leather sample and water float. The drums are pre-heated by means of circulation and have been fitted with accurate temperature control. If necessary, the temperature can be accurately increased to 70°C or more. For further information email: inoxvic@interausa.com
