Ishim Russia diversify into hides

Sheepskin processing specialists Ishim leather and fur factory (Tyumen region) are to diversify into cattle hides and the necessary equipment has already been installed. Equipment at the tannery is also suitable for pigskins and a sewage treatment system is under construction.. The company have signed a co-operative agreement with the Turkish company Ozenen and the Russian partners will supply up to 70 tons of wet-blue per month to Türkiye. The first shipment was due in early March. Part of the profits from the joint venture will be invested in production development. As a result of signing the agreement, the Ishim factory have reached agreements with eight meat processing plants in the south of the region and one in the Kurgan region for the shipment of raw material supplies.
