Le Show targets Russia

16 March 2003

The sixth edition of the Le Show exhibition is to take place at the Expo Centr, Moscow, between July 8-10. The fair will feature exhibitors from raw hides and skins, part processed and finished leathers, finished leather garments and leathergoods, chemicals and machinery. The 20,000 sq m exhibition will cover four halls of the Expo Centr and most of the visitors are comprised of manufacturers, wholesalers and department store buyers from Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and other former Russian republics. 'Le Show is a strictly professional fair and we do not allow entrance from the general public', Öykü Özer, assistant project manager, Türkel Fair Organisers, told Leather International. 'We have a high level of exhibitors from Türkiye, Spain, South Korea, Italy, China, the US and Canada', she said. The show is broken down into two sections; raw materials and manufacturing for tanners and traders, and a manufactured products sector for garment and leathergoods makers. Le Show will also feature a catwalk collection of leathers for the autumn/winter 2003/04 season.
