Macedonian eleven-month production

Macedonia's State Statistical Office has reported that the production of leather and leather products in Macedonia in the first eleven months of this year was 8.7% lower than in the same period in 2007.


In comparison, manufacturing output in Macedonia in the January to November period was 7.7% higher year-on-year. The average gross monthly wage in the Macedonian leather industry in the first ten months of 2008 was US$274, an increase of 41.7% compared with the same period the previous year. In comparison, the average gross monthly wage in Macedonia's manufacturing industry in the January to October 2008 period was US$467.
