Meet In Africa next in Addis Ababa

Meet In Africa, the biggest international gathering of the leather industries in the African continent will take place from 6 to 9 October 2004 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. All the activities are to be held at the UNECA - The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. MiA is aimed at industry professionals from the leather sector including representatives of the raw materials, finished products, chemicals, components, accessories and machinery sectors. The event will include the General Assembly of the AFLAI (African Federation of the Leather and Allied Industries) on 6 October. This will be the fourth edition of Meet In Africa. Following demands of some enterprises who wished to have a rather more commercial edge to the next event, it will take place in a slightly different manner from previous years. The buyers/sellers meetings as well as the partnership meetings will take place over the three days of the fair, from 7 to 9 October. Meet In Africa is organised by the SIC Group based in Paris and the International Trade Centre (ITC) based in Geneva.
