Natuzzi's leather sofa investment

Italy's Natuzzi furniture manufacturer is to invest approximately US$14 million in the construction of a new leather sofa factory in Baia Mare in Romania, according to the Mediafax news agency. The company are currently negotiating the purchase of land in the town. It is understood that the factory, which will employ around 600 people, will use locally-produced materials. The production will be exported. Construction of the 30,000 m2 factory will start in July and be completed by the end of next year.
