New Cangilones milling drum from Olcina

Olcina were showing their new Cangilones Soft Mill milling drum at Tanning Tech, featuring the well established wide shelf which allows hides to slide in the drum rather than experience a sharp fall which could damage them. The Cangilones system, adapted to the dry milling and conditioning process, translates into a greater saving of energy and a higher load. This gives excellent results at a lower cost. The Cangilones Soft Mill features a computerised panel which gives control over all parameters (work periods, air, temperature, humidity etc) and memorises all the different processes so they can be repeated later. The drum is constructed from AISI 316 stainless steel. Due to the large dimension loading door (1x1.35m) the loading/unloading process is made easier. The Cangilones Soft Mill measures 3,000x2,000mm and gives a work volume of 11m3. Motor power is 15HP (11kW); speed 14-16 rpm; load 600kg (depending on process).
