TRUMPLER International will once again be present at Tanning Tech with a new stand design reflecting their modern, innovative approach to the leather industry. Several new products will be featured highlighting the company's commitment to environmental issues and the utilisation of renewable raw material resources in product development and manufacture. Of particular interest this year will be Truponat SL, a compact beamhouse auxiliary which can be used to good effect in both the soaking as well as the liming processes. Due to the well-balanced combination of protease and lipase the product improves the degreasing effect in soaking and liming and accelerates the processes. In addition, swelling is regulated in the liming process resulting in excellent scud loosening and fine smooth grain characteristics. From their dyehouse section, Trumpler will present several new and unique products which will undoubtedly be of great interest. Trupotan RXL is a highly effective, low-foaming, acrylic agent with outstanding filling properties. Leathers processed with Trupotan RXL exhibit extremely fine grain characteristics coupled with a fine, mellow handle and excellent dyeing properties. Trupofix SLD is a unique dyeing auxiliary based on fatty alcohol derivatives which greatly enhance the colour value of leathers dyed with anionic dyestuffs. The use of Trupofix SLD allows bright level shades to be achieved with greatly reduced dye offer. In addition, Trupofix SLD will assist the fixation and exhaustion of other anionic materials such as fatliquors and syntans, thus having a positive effect on effluent loadings. In keeping with Trumpler's philosophy of utilising readily renewable raw material resources, which they pioneered some ten years ago, Truposol NBF has been added to their highly successful upholstery and auto upholstery range. Truposol NBF has been specifically developed for use in the production of flame-resistant leather, the fatliquor is free from antimony and halogenated adducts and can be used as a direct replacement for other fatliquors in the manufacturing process. Trupon GTX is a new vegetable oil-based fatliquor designed for use in all softy leathers and suedes. Trupon GTX imparts to the leathers a kind, mellow touch and excellent 'writing effects' on suede and nubuck leathers.
