New initiatives at PAL 2002

18 September 2001

Several new initiatives will be introduced at the 2002 Panamerican Leather Fair (PAL) scheduled to take place at the Miami Beach Convention Centre in Miami Beach, Florida, on January 20-22, 2002. For the first time, an International Industry Advisory Board will assemble for the purpose of assessing and advising on industry trends. Additionally, the newly created Technology Pavilion/PALTECH will offer exhibitors a dedicated auditorium space where exhibitors can present the latest technological innovations in the leather industry. Another new offering, making its US debut at PAL 2002, is 'Leather for Living'. Pioneered at APLF in Hong Kong, this prominent display will highlight innovative materials and design for home furnishings and decor. This feature will also offer a selection of automotive leather and other creative interpretations of everyday use. There will be an expanded seminar series that will feature in-depth presentations and encourage discussion of Business, Fashion and Marketing innovations in the leather industry.
