New lanolin shoe fatliquor from TFL

9 March 2011

With Coripol BZE, TFL have introduced a sustainable and economical fatliquor with excellent characteristics. The good light and heat fastness properties of this anionic fatliquor make the product extremely suitable for the production of shoe leather with high performance requirements.

The product is based on a combination of natural raw materials including lanolin. It lubricates the grain and keeps it elastic and, as part of TFL’s Maxi Solution concept, it supports the tanner’s quest for achieving the best cutting yield with excellent grain tightness and moderate inner softness. Leather fatliquored with Coripol BZE shows good dyeability and responds well to buffing and burnishing.

The fatliquor is designed for the production of classical non-milled shoe upper and handbag leathers as well as splits, chrome tanned or chrome-free. In combination with other Coripol products, such as Coripol SBL, Coripol GF and Coripol SLG it is especially suitable as a fatliquor for all full and semi vegetable tanned articles.
