New lines from Vallero

Vallero International are pleased to announce their new product range. The Geomatic is a new wooden drum, 2,000x2,000mm, for liming, tanning and dyeing. It features the innovative 'variable geometry' system: a flexible internal drum lay-out which controls adjustment of the drum's mechanical action in the various processes and on various kinds of hides and skins. The drum is equipped with an AG door, a new automatic opening/closing system which operates with auto-clamps and without a rubber pipe seal, and a compact transmission system. Propeller ML 5000 with a loading capacity of 1,000kg, has been developed for retanning, dyeing and fatliquoring, and is also suitable for chrome tanning. External features include a rotating Y divided basket. The polygonal basket and the arrangement of the holes increase the float movement and perform the colour-jet process. Advantages include: a time saving of approximately 20%; a 50% reduction of water; 10-15% reduction in the amount of chemicals used; up to 50% energy saving; perfect colouring; excellent leather grain; and easy loading/unloading of hides. Star-lab 100 is an 800x500mm testing drum in stainless steel AISI 316 L, fitted on a self-supporting stand. A transparent underside allows verification of the movement of skins. The re-circulation system gives a shower effect; pegs and multifunctional shelves perform the float collection and distribution. Optional extras include heating and filtration systems. Star-Lab is noiseless and anti-vibrating. The Tanware automation system is used in tanneries worldwide. It offers the following features: AquaWare, stainless steel water mixing system: a distribution capacity of 3"; ChemWare liquid chemical dosing system, based on weight with an 800 litre capacity; pHWare for pH control; DrumWare which offers total drum control; MasterWare, pc software formula management; each component of the TanWare system is networked with the others. Key advantages include a 40% cost reduction and a 25% increase in capacity. Vallero International attained ISO 9001-2000 compliance in 2004.
