New products from Cromogenia

Cromogenia launched the following products at Tanning Tech: Retanal GL-50 is an aqueous solution of glutaraldehyde at 50%, for application on chrome-free items, as a pre-tanning agent, in order to improve penetration in vegetable tanning leathers. In chrome-tanning when added to the chrome salt prior to the tanning process, it improves fullness. It can be used a retanning agent when added in special conditions, to obtain a shrunken effect. Fosfol 1SC is a clear yellow liquid composed of sulphochlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbons with vegetable compounds, and contains 64% active matter. It imparts medium feel and a waxy surface touch. Unix 1F oil, based on phosphoric esters of fatty compound, is a clear yellow liquid with 62% active content. It is recommended for very soft items, such as footwear and garment leather. It facilitates the dry shaving process leaving a waxy feel in both grain as flesh sides. Fosfol C6B is a clear brownish liquid composed of synthetic ester sulfited with lecithin and additives, with an active content of 46%. This fatliquor is specially recommended for very soft items intended for furniture upholstery leathers, nappa for clothing and lamb or goatskin gloving leathers. Fosfol 54 is a clear brownish liquid vegetable based sulfated oil, with an active content of 68%. It is recommended for footwear and splits with medium feel. The product offers good dye levelling and smooth grain. Fosfol AUT C-7 clear, brownish liquid, sulfited oil with an active content of 68-70%. It provides excellent softness and very low VOC and FOG fogging values. After submission to a temperature test it does not produce any odour. Although the product is stable in tanning baths, it is recommended for use in the main fatliquoring process. Fostol AUT C-8 is a clear, brownish liquid, sulfited oil with an active content of 45%. It provides an excellent degree of whiteness and very low VOC and FOG values. The product is specially designed for pickling and tanning baths, thanks its excellent stability and the wetting power on partially dried wet-blue.
