New pull-up effect for pigmented leather

Clariant's Business unit leather is constantly coming up with new finishing ideas. After having recently presented their innovative range of oils and waxes, Clariant's product finishing unit has now come up with a new generation of fashionable pull-up effects on pigmented leather, the so-called Aladin Effect. This new innovation has been especially developed for the production of pull-up on pigmented leathers. The generated pull-up effect leads to a maximum upgrading - also for lower selection crusts. Melio 06-F-02 should be used as an intermediate effect-coat and should be applied onto a pigmented base coat, together with the well-known Supronil HK dyes or micro-pigments to achieve the required effect in the desired shade. This should be followed by a colourless fixing base coat to ensure that the leather will maintain its pronounced pull-up effect. Depending on the absorption of the base coat and the use of the mentioned fixing base coat, several degrees of pull-up can be generated. The final top coat naturally provides the physical properties required and will give the leather its final touch. Melio 06-F-02 is distinguished by the following key features: * Strong and bright pull-up effect * Strong darkening after plating * Excellent repolishability * Good adhesion and inter-coat adhesion * Very good surface levelling * Steam resistance on shoe upper leather * Remarkable upgrading
