New syntan and retan from SCRD

Société Commerciale Raoul-Duval & Cie, SCRD, are specialists in vegetable tanning extracts, gambier, tara, myrobolam chestnut, sumac and mimosa. At Tanning Tech, they launched the new Retan GPG which is a modified pyrocatechic, gambier-based product. It gives a soft and spongy leather if used alone and is very good for thin skins. Syntex DIBS is a new synthetic tannin. This is an organic product in an aqueous solution, aldehyde free, which is used to pretan hides. In addition, they were showing their full range of vegetable extracts, synthetic tannins, resins, fatliquors and other chemicals plus vegetable and synthetic dyes.
