Statistics Norway reports that Norway exported raw hides and skins worth US$79.4 million in 2006, as compared with US$65.2 million in 2005. Norway also exported leather and leather products worth US$42.6 million in 2006, compared with US$41.8 million the previous year. Norway imported raw hides and skins worth US$11.2 million in 2006, compared with US$11.7 million the previous year. Imports of leather and leather products were worth US$79.7 million in 2006, as against US$74.5 million in 2005.
