Len Kershaw, who worked for Stahl UK Limited as export manager in the late 1970s, has died. He began his career in the leather industry at Midland Leather Company where he was technical director for many years. He had also attended the Leathersellers College in London. Following his time with Stahl, Kershaw worked for a number of shoe and leathergoods tanners in the north of England. Mervyn Alcock also worked for Stahl but started his leather career with the Gomshall Group after qualifying at the British School of Leather Technology in Northampton. He worked for Connolly Leather for ten years before joining Stahl Europe in 2002 as a member of the company's global Automotive Technical Team. Throughout his working life, he was always prepared to travel and during his time with Stahl he visited places as far reaching as South America, China, Japan, Singapore and India. Both men were extremely popular with Stahl's customers and with their colleagues. Stahl extend their deepest condolences to their families and feel sure that this will be echoed by all who knew them.
