OJSC Novotroitsk look to sell chrome into China

The OJSC Novotroitsk Plant of Chromium Compounds company has been supplying the Russian tanning industry with chromium products for a number of years. Now they are hoping to branch out of their domestic market to gain overseas business, particularly in China. Established in 1963 and located in the south eastern part of Russia, close to the border with Kazakhstan, OJSC produce a number of chromium compounds for a wide range of industries. 'At the moment, we supply basic chromium sulfate and sodium dichromate compounds either directly to tanners or through sales agents and exporters. 'We have come to China because we feel that the domestic market is very large and important to us. Other markets which we want to target include Türkiye, Iran and states of the former USSR', Larissa Groshkova, deputy general director on commercial matters, told Leather International at ACLE. OJSC also attended a leather fair in Iran. OJSC supply a number of chromium tanning and retanning compounds as well as a number of chromium based laboratory agents to the leather industry.
