Olcina first to pass quality audit

Spanish drum and paddle producers, Olcina, are the first tannery machinery company to achieve ISO 9000:2000 certification. The quality seal states that Olcina guarantee that their activity is orientated to the client and is based on principles of continuous product improvement, including constant communication with customers. The certification was approved by AENOR in January 2003 and Olcina have successfully passed their first annual follow-up audit to make sure that they continue to meet the required quality standards set out by ISO accreditation. As a result of achieving the award, Olcina have developed tannery machinery which has less water consumption, is more energy efficient with higher productivity. They have also introduced a new range of drums that have a faster loading and unloading time, increased strength and are easy to clean.
