Olcina unveil new campaign

14 February 2005

Spanish machinery company Olcina have launched a new advertising campaign which is centred around the concepts of environment, flexibility and profit. Olcina believe that these concepts are key to a successful future and the company's range of drums and paddles, automation systems, engineering and environment solutions make these ingredients accessible to the tanner. The campaign focuses on Olcina's exclusive Cangilones drum, considered by the company to be a cornerstone in the future of the tanning industry. According to Joaquin Paez, international sales and marketing director: 'The Cangilones drum is gradually replacing the traditional drum in the world's most important tanneries.' He continues, 'those tanners processing high volumes as well as tanners in niche markets whose clients demand the highest quality, need tools which are flexible and versatile. Existing customers in European countries find that Cangilones can help improve competitivity, while also complying with environmental regulations. Tanners operating in emerging markets particularly favour Cangilones' high load capacity.' Paez claims that the drum prepares companies in developing countries for the evolution of their markets and the demand for higher quality and stricter environmental regulation.' Their new advertisement can be found on page 27 of this edition of Leather International.
