The latest edition of Premiere Vision Pluriel, which encompasses Expofil, Premiere Vision, Indigo, Mod'Amont, and Le Cuir a Paris, was held from 19-22 September 2006. A large number of buyers were attracted by a rich offer and an increased number of exhibitors. Across Premiere Vision Pluriel, a total of 1,507 companies presented their collections for the autumn/winter 2007-2008 fashion season. Designers and manufacturers from over 100 countries attended to peruse the collections and place their orders. The 11th edition of Le Cuir A Paris brought together 267 exhibitors from 20 countries, and the surface area increased by 10% on the previous September edition. 13,609 visitors were recorded, up 12% on the previous autumn edition. According to show manager Beatrice Rousseau, 'the dynamic working environment of the fair confirms the economic recovery.' She added that Le Cuir A Paris 'enables the professionals, who are highly international, to discover an increasingly innovative materials offer.' Representatives of Misadon (Argentina) and Berlonzi (Brazil) reported having met the key fashion buyers they had been looking for, after exhibiting for the first time. Novelties for winter 2007/08 on display in the Trends Gallery included lacquered leathers, red tones and metallics, weaves and arabesques; waxed and classical crossed grains and doubleface fur. Future editions of Le Cuir a Paris will be held as follows: 2007 Tuesday 20 to Friday 23 February Tuesday 18 to Friday 21 September 2008 Tuesday 19 to Friday 22 February Tuesday 23 to Friday 26 September
