PETA solicit funds for their campaign

16 April 2003

In 2002, PETA sent out an unsolicited mailing for donations from £5-£75 along with publicity consisting mainly of distortion and untruth. An objection was made to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) which took some six months to adjudicate. However, of the 16 objections raised, 13 were upheld. These can be found on their website at [http://www.asa.org.uk]. We thank John Shevill of Forestal Mimosa for bringing this to our attention.
