Playing golf for leather trade charities

The 57th International Golf Championship of the Shoe, Leather and Allied Trades will be held at Woodhall Spa Golf Club, Lincolnshire, from Wednesday June 19 to Friday June 21, 2002. It is played over 36 holes across the original Hotchkin course set amidst banks of gorse on a sandy sub-soil and the more recently constructed parkland Bracken golf course. A banquet is being held on the Thursday evening in the English Golf Union building which is part of the Woodhall Spa Golf Course complex. Entries must be with the secretary by Saturday, April 6, and participants should be involved in either the leather or footwear industries.
