Prime Minister visits Boxmark’s new R&D centre

The Prime Minister of Slovenia, Janez Janša, has officially opened the new €15 million R&D centre at Boxmark’s Slovenian operation in Kidrievo.


Last year, Austria based, Boxmark recorded revenues of €134 million, which is €34 million more than in 2010, thereby increasing productivity and value. The company are one of the worlds leading suppliers of automotive and furniture upholstery leathers.

The new research and development centre will employee 20 people and there are also plans to hire more staff, most of whom are highly qualified. 

Prime Minister Janez Janša visited Boxmark Slovenia on June 15 together with the State Secretary at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, Uroš Rožič.
