27 November 2006

Russia's Economic Development and Trade Ministry says that the bilateral agreement signed with the United States in mid-November concerning Russia's accession to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) will see Russia reducing or scrapping import duties on leather, according to the Interfax news agency. The measure would be designed to support the domestic footwear industry, said the Ministry.
