Sadesa NZ confusion
16 November 2010Argentina based tanning group Sadesa say that It has come to their attention that a company based in New Zealand has registered under the name of Sadesa Limited and states to have as their main line of business the trading of hides, crust and finished leather, mainly for the shoe- and auto-industries.
Their website: www.sadesa.co.nz gives information regarding their activities, some of their products and their CEO, Luis Daniel Sosa Perez, originally from Uruguay. The Sadesa Ltd company was established on October 27, 2010 according to their website.
Sadesa would like to point out that this website has absolutely no relation to their own website www.sadesa.com where full details about the group are clearly displayed. Sadesa Argentina, would like to clarify that the New Zealand based company has absolutely no relationship with the Sadesa Group and we have no knowledge or connection in reference to Mr Perez.
Sadesa Group are also considering legal action against this company in relation to the use of the name within the hide and leather trade.
