Satra supports ethical trading

Satra has taken a leading role in identifying resourcing companies who operate to high ethical standards. The Satra Ethical Trading Award can be earned by companies who: * understand local laws and regulations, including environmental, health and safety and employment legislation * plan environmentally by reducing the visual impact on the environment, minimising waste, emissions and accidental toxic discharges * adopt a responsible employment policy by offering adequate training, realistic wages, hours and working conditions. And banning child labour * do not discriminate through sex, race, colour, nationality, religion, age, marital status and maternity * embrace human rights, by recognising freedom of employees to join legal associations * offer adequate health and safety procedures
