Serbia and Montenegro first-half production

Serbia and Montenegro's Federal Statistical Office reports that the production of leather and leather products in Serbia and Montenegro in the first half of this year was 21% lower than in the same period in 2002. In comparison, overall industrial output in the country in the January to June period was 2% lower year-on-year. Raw hides and skins exports in the January to July period totalled 4,468 tons, against 4,115 tons in the same period in 2002.
