Slovak Ecco increase sales

The Ecco Slovakia footwear producer in the Slovak Republic recorded sales worth US$57 million in 2002, a year-on-year increase of US$2.6 million, according to the CTK news agency's Business News. Ecco Martin manufactured 2.3 million pairs of shoes in 2002 and have produced 5.5 million pairs since their establishment five years' ago. The parent company, Ecco Sko Denmark, are to invest US$6.9 million this year in the company's development. Production this year is to increase to 2.5 million pairs and to four million pairs in 2006.
