Slovak Republic leather production and sales

Slovakia's Statistical Office reports that leather industry production in the Slovak Republic in the first four months of this year was 6.5 per cent lower than in the same period in 2003. In comparison, overall industrial output in Slovakia was 6.2 per cent higher year-on-year. Manufacturers of leather and leather products in Slovakia recorded total sales worth US$36.2 million in April, a year-on-year fall of 9.9%.
