Slovak Republic production and sales

Slovakia's Statistical Office reports that leather industry production in the Slovak Republic in the first seven months of this year was 7.4% lower than in the same period in 2003. In comparison, industrial output in Slovakia in the January to July period was 5.1% higher year-on-year. The statistical office also reports that leather industry companies in the Slovak Republic recorded total sales worth US$42 million in June, a year-on-year fall of 2.1%.
