Smit & Zoon promotion

Dutch leather chemical producers Smit & Zoon have announced that they have appointed Dirick von Behr (a Reutlingen graduate) as their new technical manager leather. In this position he will be responsible for the application laboratory, heading their technical team. Mr von Behr has been the tannery manager of Malungs Garveri in Sweden for the past three years. Furthermore, he has many years of experience in all fields of leather technology due to his previous employment at Smit & Zoon (both extensive travelling and in R&D) and at tanneries in Indonesia and South Africa. He considers that his prime concern is to translate the latest chemistry developments into practical solutions for tanneries.
