Spotlight on synthetics in Wenzhou

The 12th China (Wenzhou) International Leather Fair will be held at Wenzhou Interntational Convention & Exhibition Centre on September 21-23, 2007. The event will cover five halls containing a total of 815 exhibitor companies from across China, as well as international companies from Italy, Germany, India, America, China, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. The exhibiting area and the number of exhibitors have increased by 25% compared to last year's event. The range of products on display has been expanded to include finished leathergoods and accessories industries such as garments, luggage & bags, sofa, automobile interiors. The show's organizers are also preparing 'Trade 2007-Series Activities of China Synthetic Leather', to promote Wenzhou as a supplier of synthetics. To this end there will be a serious of synthetic based events including a trends show and a 'Buyer-Supplier Match-making Symposium'. The All China Shoe-tech Fair will run alongside the Leather fair, an apt location as Wenzhou is China's most important shoe-making base. The event showcases shoe machinery, raw materials (insole, outsole and last), shoe-making accessories and CAD & CAM systems. Materials include all kinds of leather, synthetic and imitation leather, and PU. This year designers from the Italian Unione Stilisti delle Marche, will host 'Italian Fashion Shoes Trend Show & New Material Trend Show' during the exhibition, aiming to strengthen communication and cooperation with Chinese footwear industry.
