Stahl opened on August 16 their newly extended Customer Support Centre in Tuzla, near Istanbul, Turkey. Rapid growth of the leather industry in Turkey has led to an increase of activities for Stahl and justified the €0.5 million investment in the new facility.

The opening was performed by Stahl’s CEO, Huub van Beijeren who expressed his belief in the healthy future of the leather industry. He gave an assurance that Stahl will keep investing in initiatives that help to sustain development of the industry.

Many leaders from the Turkish leather industry and other authorities were present at the event.

Stahl recognises the growing importance of the Turkish leather industry and wishes to extend its cooperation by offering state-of-the art local technology, training and support.

The Turkish Customer Support Centre is one of some 30 technical service centres worldwide, from which more than 300 leather technicians work locally with customers, both in the laboratories and on location.
