Stahl gives a new dimension at Anpic 2003

27 January 2003

Stahl de México will present a collection of over a hundred representative leather finishes at this year's Anpic Fair, covering all sectors of the South American market for leather. Based on Stahl's theme for 2003, 'A New Dimension in Creativity', the display shows how this is adapted to local needs using local raw materials. The leather finishes will focus on very natural finishes with fashion content, but upgrading quality, comfort, and beauty. From retanning, dyeing and fatliquoring to finished leather, the collection has been prepared by Stahl de México's staff of technicians taking into account the forecasts of fashion colours. A new range of oils, Corilene FSC, Corilene FSS, Corilene FSU, Corilene FSF was used for fatliquoring the leather. These oils give medium penetration, offer good lightfastness and impart softness to any kind of leather. Stahl's recent acquisition of Salem Oil & Grease will also enhance the range fatliquoring products. A large range of anilines and retanning agents will demonstrate applications on a wide variety of leather including corrected grain leathers, nappas, garments, leather for furniture, splits, and others. beamhouse products including Degreaser Bemanol D and the Antiwrinkle Bemanol AWS will also be shown. Leather finishes will be shown that promote new and extremely soft impregnations of full and corrected grain made with RI-1132 and PT-6561. Other areas of the display will show the use of cationic finishing products and ways in which very natural finishes using such products as compact resins RD-23035, hybrid resins, Polymatte, crosslinkers, aqueous lacquers with low VOC, hand modifiers like HM-22-677 can improve selection. Stahl de México will be located in stands 1 to 8 of block 41 in hall 7.
