Strojosvit update

11 January 2001

Czech Republic staking specialists, Strojosvit, have updated two of their vibration staking models. The through-feed machine, 070033 P1, has a working width of 3.2 metres which makes it suitable for stretching and softening full hides. When passing through the machine the leather is manipulated in every direction by means of a vibrating lower staking plate and a firm upper staking plate. The newly designed plates gradually increase the intensity of the staking action as the leather passes along the conveyor. The updated machine also leaves no marks on the leather and a new flexible seating reduces the level of vibration which transfers through to the floor. The 070047 P1 model is specifically designed to stake all types of upper leathers including cow, pig and calfskins. The leather is softened by a moving lower softening plate and an adjustable upper plate. The softening plates are located across three successive beams and the leather is transported by means of two flexible conveyors. The machine is protected against overloading by means of an easily replaceable shell with a shearing pin. It can also be loaded onto flexible rubber or pneumatic bases by means of dampening the vibration transfer into the floor.
