Students visit TFL Academy

27 July 2012

For the past 11 years TFL and the University of Northampton have worked together. In May 2012, students from the University (Institute of Creative Leather Technologies) together with some students from the local Arzignano tannery school, ITIS G. Galilei, visited TFL's Academy site in Montebello for a workshop.

The workshop was structured into a theoretical part and in leather applications, such as shoe-upper, upholstery and garment. The students visited a local tannery and companies making tannery machinery.

TFL continues to welcome educational institutes to their various locations in order to prepare the students for the future.

In addition to these activities, TFL Academy is hosting students from various senior high schools specialising in science education.

The TFL Academy is continuing to facilitate training in order to support the education of the next generation of leather technicians.
