TFL acquire Wilmington Leather Coating

17 June 2002

TFL are continuing to build up their finishing business with the acquisition of Wilmington Leather Coating, a division of Seton Company, specialists in finishing systems for automotive leather. TFL's finishing business had already been expanded with the acquisitions of Deacolor in 1998 and Novaria in 2001. Automotive leather is a fast growing segment of the tanning industry, where high quality standards are required. Serving this fast growing segment means meeting these high requirements in the leather production. Thanks to this additional acquisition, which includes the production facility for automotive finishing systems, the R&D and the technical support, TFL will be stronger in the US finishing market and closer to their US customers. With this acquisition TFL are complying with their vision to be the preferred supplier to the leather industry on a global basis, creating value for their customers with superior systems and service.
