TFL have released their new TFL Colour Trends catalogue for the season autumn-winter 2012/13. In the catalogue, TFL present the colour trends for the leather garment, footwear, accessory and additionally for the upholstery industry.

They have divided the colour trends into ‘Wearing’ and ‘Living’, devoting a section to each within the publication. ‘Wearing’ comprises inspirations and colour trends for garments, footwear and accessories. The ‘Living’ section features all colours that will decorate the season’s interior design.

In ‘Living’ a geometric pop art motif and countless variations of textile designs including stripes and cashmere, as well as large and small squares move through next winter’s collection. You will find nubuck with unusual materials embossed with irregular patterns, fine grain micro-flotter bovine leather with light effects of the same colour creating a surface of shimmering images. The colours range from beige and brown tones to various orange tones.

In ‘Wearing’ TFL will use nubuck surfaces in various thicknesses and from different animals that follow our movements comfortably. Moreover, they see in this season beautiful soft suede almost transparent with bursting hues of light and the supple touch of bovine leather and soft lamb skin. The colours range from brown, dark blue-grey and dark green tones to violet and red tones.
In addition, TFL are featuring their Sella FIX HPF conc – a high performance product to fix dyes and other anionic products to increase wet fastness properties, especially the perspiration fastness.
