Throughfeed press from Bauce

Bauce have upgraded their throughfeed sammying and setting out machine. The Stenpress MVC-4 is available with two or three cylinders depending on leather type. Using the MVC-4 model offers higher surface increases and improved drying quality. The machine has been designed to be used on tanned hides or sides for any leather type. It is particularly suitable for processing wet-blue. Innovations added to the latest model include a cylinder assembly with a larger blade diameter and bladed cylinders with more powerful motors fitted with speed controls. The speed controls the revolution of the cylinder. On the new machine, the leather passes between the bladed cylinders. A full list of machine specifications is given in Tables 1 & 2.
