Together under the Premiere Vision Pluriel banner

24 May 2005

Expofil, Premiere Vision, Le Cuir a Paris, Indigo and Mod'Amont are joining forces under a new label. Not by accident did the five salons held at the same time at the Parc d'Expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte come together. Expofil, Premiere Vision, Le Cuir a Paris, Indigo and Mod'Amont all complement each other and form a strong and coherent ensemble. The international fashion and textile professionals who eagerly attend each session provide evidence enough: twice a year for four days some 50,000 professionals from over 110 countries participate in the event to conduct business, exchange ideas, work and build their collections together. The five shows have the same approach: expertise in their sector, close attention to the markets, an ongoing search for creativity and innovation, high standards of quality, and the desire to bring the latest, continually updated service to both exhibitors and buyers. This common spirit brought the salons to the logical conclusion of working closer together and undertaking joint activities under the Paris Pole Mode banner. Le Cuir a Paris, which until now has been exhibiting at the Porte de Versailles, will be joining them for the first time at Villepinte in September 2005. Today, the five salons demonstrate their desire to take this idea even further by joining together under a common banner: Premiere Vision Pluriel. Choosing Premiere Vision Pluriel as the signature name was a manifest choice to the partners, as it is the strongest, most visible label, with a unique reputation for quality in all the world's major markets. Symbolising the collective, Premiere Vision Pluriel affirms both each individual label and the richness of the group. Within the ensemble, each salon will continue to cultivate its own specialities and to develop all the facets of its individual personality, under the direction of its own team of specialists. The logo reflects this double nature: it combines the common label with the different assembled professions (fibre, yarn, fabric, leather, patterns, accessories), listed upstream to downstream. The diagonal slash - a modern nod to the computer slash - is a graphic expression of plurality, conceived as a plus and in full respect of the salons' different individualities. As of the September 2005 session, Premiere Vision Pluriel will express itself tangibly, with the salons federated under this label engaging in joint activities and tools. Also in order to promote this collective, a new website, [http://www.premierevision-pluriel.com], has been established to supply an overall access to information concerning the five salons. It is already operational. During the salons, a common pass will simplify visitor traffic by providing entry to all shows. Those wishing to attend only Mod'Amont, Indigo or the Le Cuir a Paris salon remain free to choose a badge providing access to one show only. Other operations and services in common are already being planned. The creation of Premiere Vision Pluriel testifies to a strong desire on the part of the five salons brought together at Villepinte. It demonstrates their determination to confirm this rendezvous as an event that, in terms of its richness and its effectiveness, remains without peer in the fashion sector.
