14 March 2012

How many people fully understand the importance of compliance with international regulations? Ensuring product safety through compliance is critical to managing the leather supply chain.Falling foul of legislation like Proposition 65, CPSIA or REACH can have significant consequences for businesses, both financial and damage to reputation.

Matt Priest, President of FDRA (Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America) will talk about the challenges of US legislative drivers at the Leather and the Environment Conference in Hong Kong on Tuesday March 27, 2012.

With debates about toxic chemicals high on the agenda in terms of global environmental issues, those involved in the leather supply chain should not miss this opportunity to enhance their knowledge of this key area.

The half-day conference is sponsored by Lanxess Lectra, Heim Leather Chem and Leather International and organised by BLC Leather Technology Centre and APLF.
