Training for tannery workers

At the end of November, Unic and Conciaricerca started with a training course at the Technical Institute 'Baldracco', Turin, for tannery workers; the participants were all members of the Maghreb community from the town. The association of the Italian tanneries will continue organising this kind of course, both for foreign and Italian workers to be placed with the companies located in the Italian tanning districts. Unic are also ready to organise some specialisation courses, after high school degrees, for young technicians on subjects such as environment, quality etc. All these courses will be held in the Baldracco institute and will then also be held in other Italian tanning institutes.
