USHSLA elected President of ICHSLTA
23 April 2012The 83rd AGM of ICHSLTA was held in Hong Kong on March 27 prior the APLF show. The Council held its president election. John Reddington of USHSLA was elected as new President of ICHSLTA and Nick Winters of SGCP and Zhang Shuhua of CLIA elected for joint Vice Presidents in next term.
Zhang Shuhua, former Chairman of CLIA, currently Honorary Chairman of CLIA, who served the Council as President since 2008 will continue her engagement in ICHSLTA as Vice-President commissioned by new Chairman of CLIA Mr. Su Chaoying.
New elected President, John Reddington expressed that he and all members of ICHSLTA will endeavor together to improve the service of the Council to make ICHLSTA more viable and internationally relevant and contribute to the healthy development of world hides, skins and leather trade. Reddington also decided that the Secretariat of ICHSLTA will be kept in Beijing as before hosted by CLIA.
Besides, Taiwanese International Leather Association (TILA) was officially adopted as full member of the Council.
