Uzbekistan micro credits for livestock sector
16 November 2007The United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Area-based Development Programme is to provide micro credits to livestock farmers in Uzbekistan’s Nishan district, according to UzReport. This follows surveys in the district which showed that although local people have considerable experience in breeding livestock, they lack circulating capital and have limited access to bank loans.
